Plus Transfer is a free online service that allows you to send large files from your computer to any recipient that you wish to send to.

The service is provided via an online portal and is extremely easy to use, in fact you are not even required to register.

Why is this service needed?

There are many other ways that you can send files to people – one of the most commonly used methods is simply sending the files as an attachment. This is fine for small files but as you send bigger files it can become problematic.

Email typically allows you to send files with a size limit anywhere from 10MB to 25MB – even if you have a high limit at your end it is likely that the recipient will still have these restraints in place and this means that sending large files via email is simply not practical.

In addition, when you send files via email as attachments you are limited to the types of files that you can send – for example services such as Gmail will not allow you to send executable files or other types of file that are commonly associated with the transfer if viruses and other malware.

Benefits of using Plus Transfer

This is why Plus Transfer is such a useful service – it allows you to send very large files as well as allowing you to send all different types of files without worrying that they will be blocked at the other end.

In fact, with Plus Transfer you can send files up to 5GB in size – this is extremely large and would even cover files such as HD movies.

How to use the service?

The best part about this file transfer service is that it allows you to send these files with very little effort – you don’t even need to register or sign up for an account to get started.

All that you need to do is visit the website, click on the plus symbol and then browse for the file or files that you wish to send.

Once you have added the files click on start upload and you will be prompted for the recipient information – you can add their email address along with a message and also your email so they know who the file has come from.

After you have added this information simply click on send and the file will be uploaded to the plus transfer servers and then a link to that file will be sent to the recipient. Because the file is stored on the plus transfer server there is no need to worry about any receiving limit the recipient may have in place – they simply get a link to the file allowing them to download it at their leisure.
